Young people scorn non-voters

It's an easy cheap shot in mainstream beltway chatter: "young people don't vote!" It's a little more complicated than that, but the youth vote has been historically wobbly.

So: along with Axios, we investigated how young people felt about their peers who chose not to vote.

Here's what we found:

a giant chunk of young people are irked by their peers who don't vote.

The Methodology: The study was conducted from Oct. 22-27 with a nationally representative sample of 812 respondents ages 18-29, with a margin of error of +/- 3.4 percentage points.

The Generation Lab conducts polling using a demographically representative sample frame of young people around the country, across educational, racial, political, geographic, gender and economic backgrounds.
